Day at the Pond

We spent the day at the pond. We set up the tents and just enjoyed the day. The boys had a couple of friends from their class spend the night last night after the game. Once we took them to the pond they wanted them to stay again.

Cody caught a fish. He came up to me and asked if he could call his mom. I said sure. When she answered, he said. "Mom I caught a fish, I really caught a fish. I'm having so much fun." Apparantly that was the first fish he had ever caught. I told Tim that alone made it worth all the work of putting things up and dragging all the food and drinks etc... to the pond.

I took this picture of Sam and Scott. I thought it turned out neat but I wish I had gotten a different angle that included the water.

Jenni and I decided to come home to sleep but I got this picture of the moon before we left.

First Home Football Game

Wow it's already football time. Our defending State Champion Wolverines took to the field with gusto! We were ahead 35 - 0 half way through the second quarter. The 2nd and third strings took over and they almost 45ed em. It was a great way to start the season!

I have been working on editing photos. I'm getting ready for those new babies. Anyway I love this shot of Josh from last Friday. I didn't have to do any retouching to his skin. Isn't it beautiful.

Softball Game

Jessi had another softball game tonight. They played Covington Douglas again and would you believe they tied again.

I really wish we could pull it out. Anyway here are some pics.

Buddy is Gone!

Well didn't today turn out great! Buddy got out when I took the boys to football practice. She was chasing our van and I told the kids "he is going to get hit". Well he did. Tim found him when he came home to change to go up to practice. The kids and I have all had a good cry.
